THE POWER OF NATURE
This is an upcoming project in which I explore how the power of nature in international relations. The most powerful militaries, nations, and individuals are still hindered by storms, wildlife, and random accidents of nature. This project investigates how natural forces affect the assessment and exercising of power in international relations.
My 2019 trip to Alaska
My interest in this topic began during a mission I participated in to check on the welfare of small towns in Alaska accessible only by snow machine. With members of our team getting severe frostbite and hypothermia, encounters with wolves and moose, and more, this trip gave me firsthand knowledge of the power of nature. I’ve taken an interest in nature photography since, showcasing different forms of power seen in nature.
I will provide updates here as the project progresses, but in the meantime, I’ve placed a few galleries below which showcase some of my photos related to this project. This starts with the photos of my first trip to Alaska I described above and continues with some of my nature photography.
During a recent trip to Glasgow, Scotland, I spent a day enjoying the Pollock Country Park, where I met these ducks as the sun set.
